1 -FELIX

"Ugh," I pointed out. "This house looks disgusting."
"I think it looks fine." my brother, Dominic replied.
My name is Felix Steele. I am 15 and a half years old. I'm moving to Eastwood... and going to Eastwood High. It's kinda dumb, because it's way past the middle of the school year, it's April. So school is basically over, AND we have to catch up with everything. I don't mind being the new kid but it's just that, you lose all your friends and stuff. So, we went into the house. It looked okay... I guess. I picked out a room, it was all white besides a orange desk and a black bed with blue sheets. So much for bringing my own sheets...
I quickly texted my friend: just moved in ugly house. w/b l8r.. o and btw da car ride was likk a billion hrs - felix
I lay in bed, tired. Ugh, it was a Sunday which meant school was tomorrow. Going through everything... oh why do we even need school?




The next day, I got to school on the bus. I sat in the back but there was someone there. Someone greeted me and told me they knew I was coming. "Our teacher told us.. trust me Eastwood High is THE BEST SCHOOL." the guy boasted. "My name's Clint. Yours?"
"Uhh... Felix." I answered.
"Nice name." Clint said. "Hey, we're having a party on Saturday. Want to come?"
Ok, not even ten minutes on the bus and I get offered a party? "Yes.. Maybe."
"Okay."
When I got to school, I figured he asked me only because everyone else was going OR he was trying to get everyone to go there. He invited EVERYONE (besides the dorks & you know, geeks). Seriously. I looked at my schedule. Welcome to Eastwood High! This is your schedule. At Eastwood, we strive for the best education. Ever since... I skipped the page and there was my schedule. "Uhh.. Science first. Room 106. Mr. Handler. Okay!"



I got there in ten minutes. "Ughh.."
"Oh, hi Mr. Steele. Take a seat." Mr. Handler ordered. I took a seat. "Whoops, nevermind come up and introduce yourself."
"My name is Felix." I said. "And I moved from New York."
"Ok, now everyone tell something about yourself."
"My name is Casey and I love to go to the mall!" And she blew a kiss to two girls. Weirdo.
"My name is Ashley and I LOVE MAKEUP, DUHHH!"
"My name is Kyle, and I play on the football team."
"My name is Mike and I like to study about exoplanets, space, especially eclipses and trying to find out the explanation for the comets to....."
"Okay, thank you Mike." Mr. Handler said.
And it went on like this. Multiple girls who like makeup, the mall, boys, shopping, boys who like sports, and some people who like whatever they said. I didn't understand what "the frequency of detections has tended to increase on an annual basis" meant....
The classes were fast, though it was boring. Finally lunch. I didn't know where to sit, so Clint invited me from his table. I saw Kyle from Science and a bunch of other guys.
"You coming to the party?" a guy said.
"Yeah.." I said.
"Goood!" two guys said. They sounded dumb and I could picture them failing all the classes. I didn't mention this though.
Another guy asked me to join his table so I just said to Clint's friends, "Uh, I need to go somewhere."
Well, the guy who asked me to join his table was named Robin. "Hey..."
"Hi." I replied.
"Well, I suggest you not go to Clint's table or party. They're complete jerks." Robin said.
"Okay..." I could tell Robin might be pretty smart. He was nerd-smart but not dumb.



I didn't want to be friends with Robin, because I noticed he was really unpopular. And to survive, you NEED to be popular. Even though you have to be rich and a bully.. i didn't care.
I got home and Dominic walked with me. "How was high school?"
"Ugh, boring. Thank god school's almost over." I winked.
"Middle school was kinda fun, I guess." Dominic said. "Too many people wanted to introduce themselves, and give me a tour... ah, and it's really dirty."
"Okay?" I said.

2 -FELIX
Okay, the whole week was a series of boring days. Tuesday: Hmmm, ok. Decided to be friends with Clint and go to his party anyway. Robin was mad, like I was betraying him. Even though, I barely knew him. Wednesday: A girl asked me out. I did what I always did, say "NO!" And make her mad or sad. Because you have to play hard to get.. at least that's what I did in 1st grade and the girl kissed me. Long story. Thursday: I was extremely popular, like everyone knew me. And today is friday.



So my friends were Kyle, Mike (not the nerd one!), Clint, Ryan, Pike, Adam, and Nelson. It was lunch and I was chatting. We were all talking about the party. "It at my house, you know I live in 6 Redoom Lane. From the school, take a right, go foward, and take a left, and move alittle till you get to the house with the 6. There's gonna be so many girls there and so many stuff.."
Okay, see ? THEY WERE DUMB. They barely knew anything besides some multiplication and adding & subtracting. Some science. Spelling was horrible. And that's all the classes I has with them.



I told Dominic about the party and he said, "ALREADY?"
I nodded. "Well, it's tomorrow."
Dominic grunted. "Ugh, are you like extremely popular?"
"I guess, because everyone seems to like me." I answered.



Party time! I went to the house. I wasn't early, wasn't late. Like right on time. Tons of people were there. People were playing truth or dare. I decided to join in. They spinned the bottle. It landed on a girl. A boy said, "I dare you to not wear makeup for two weeks." I didn't think that was a total dare, because it was easy. But the girl left, unable to do the dare. "CHICKEN, CHICKEN!" the boys chanted. They spinned the bottle and it landed on a boy. "I dare you to..." And I left. It was boring. And I turned around, and he drank two whole bottles of beer. I just sat down. Not much of a party...



I went back to STB... (spin the bottle) and it landed on me. They dared me to take cocaine.
"Pshh, don't worry. It's not addicting. Trust me. Smoking is worse. Cocaine is actually good for you."
I didn't believe that, but why not give it a try if it's so good?
I took it, and it made be have a rush of energy, it felt good, it felt I could fly...



I woke up. "What the heck?"
I was in Clint's house. There were still peoople around. "You got paranoid." Clint said.
Ugh. Whatever. I went home.

3 - FELIX

I got home early. "How was the party?" Dominic asked.
"Boring," I replied.
The cocaine was that bad. It doesn't even feel addicting. Clint was right!



The next day, I felt different. Like life wasn't enough. Like, I live here for no reason. Like stressed, depressed.
Ugh, school. I woke up, and got to school.
Clint asked, "Cocaine felt good right?"
I agreed, because it did... like it felt gooodd... I couldn't help but ask, "Do you have more?"
Clint smiled. "All here. Since it's for you, it for free!"
"Okay." I took it. Aaahh...
The girl who asked me out, asked me out again. I said yes.



I went home. I finished the cocaine, kinda. Like not fully done. I did my homework and took it at the same time, and then Dominic came in.
"WHAT IS THAT?" Dominic asked.
"C-c-COKE!" I said.
"Okay, well, dinner is ready."
"Ugh, I'm full. No dinner for me."
"Fine."



That night, I did it again. And Dominic found out. "STOP!" Dominic said. "I don't want you to die!"
"Huh? No way I could die!" I said. I took it again.
"STOP! I'm telling our parents."
"SHUT UP!" I kicked him. Then I punched him so hard and pushed him to the wall.
"Okay! Okay!" Dominic said.

4 - FELIX

"You're going to rehab." my parents said. Grrr, Dominic told them.
"What?! NO!"
"YES!"
"NO!"
"YES!"
"NO!"
"YES!"
"**** you!" I shouted and went into my room.



My parents came into my room and told me a description of cocaine. "It makes the heart pump faster and faster, so that the user feels a rush of energy, can cause sudden death, makes the blood pressure go up, causes hallucinations, and paranoia, and causes the user to be depressed and violent."
"SHUT UP, YOU *ITCH!" I said.


Two months later, I just came home from rehab. Yes I'm fully healed and healthy! I came back, and one of the messages on the phone said, "IM BREAKING UP WITH YOU" and it was the voice of my girlfriend.

"What the heck happened when I was gone?" I asked.
"Oh about Marlian? Yeah, it's sad..." my parents said.
"Ugh, I come back like this?"
"Uhh...."
"Are you serious?"
"Um."
"LIFE IS SO F-ING UNFAIR!" Then I relaxed,using the tips from rehab.



My parents told me it was ok... like it was ok of my temper. I felt bad for them ,because rehab cost lots of money. "I'm so messed up." I said to myself. "Just because I never trusted Robin, because I met Clint, because I went to school... everything... everything's so messed up... life is not good...
Then it was the last day of school. I appeared. I went to Clint.



Dominic smiled, "Hey my healthy brother!"
I frowned. "Go away."
"What did I do?"
"Nothing, just depressed.."
I went to my room, and got my drugs... Ughh, feels way better, life is GOOD now... and someone knocked on my door.

DOMINIC...

"What are you doing?"
"Nothing." I said.
He saw me, I knew it. "Stop, Felix!"
"Why can't you accept me like this? I'm not going to die!" I said.
"Felix, this will kill you. You know we spent tons of money on rehab? You want to take that away? You know this messed up your life? Do you know that? And you come here with a I don't care kind of mood?"
"Shut up."
"No, because you're the worst brother in this world!"
"Whatever. You know what? I'm going to take all this. All this cocaine. Yeah, uh huh." I used the cocaine all up. "See?"
"STOP, FELIX!"
"Yeah, I'm not dying."
"PLEASE, FELIX."
"Uh huh, I don't care if I'm the worst brother. Whatever. I hate this world." I said. "I HATE YOU."

"We will remember his moments. May God bless him."
I cried. My name is Dominic... and I just witnessed my brother die.
