"Hi," he greeted.

He stalked over to the fresh-kill pile. His thoughts clouded over Silverpaw.
We can't keep meeting. I want to be the best warrior I can...and seeing Silverpaw won't do me any good. But...we aren't doing any harm. It isn't fair!
He remembered how Treepaw had looked when he found out that they were meeting. Treepaw had looked at him with pure hatred, as if he would attack him at that moment. We can keep meeting. We aren't hurting anyone. We'll just have to make sure no cat finds out especially Treepaw. He decided.

Stormpaw finished his vole and headed to the Apprentice's den and closed his eyes.

Stormpaw found himself in a dark forest. A cat appeared. It's ShadowClan's medicine cat from many moons ago!
"Runningnose....is that you?"
"Yes, it is me," Runningnose replied.
"I thought you can only speak to medicine cats."
"StarClan has to deliver an important message for you."
"What is it?" Stormpaw asked.
"A dark path is ahead. You must be alert at all times," Runningnose whispered.
"Wh...What do you mean?"
"A dark path is ahead. You must be alert at all times," Runningnose repeated and vanished.
"No! Come back!" Stormpaw yowled.
Then, a faint image of a tree appeared. It disappeared, and Stormpaw woke up.
He gasped. A tree? What kind of message is that? Why can't StarClan give me a clearer message?

Treepaw was out hunting. Silverpaw emerged from her den and headed toward to camp entrance. It was the middle of the night. Silverpaw looked back and smelled the air to make sure no cat was following her. She, again, dashed toward to abandoned twoleg place.
Silverpaw heard a familiar gasp from the twoleg place.
"Who's there?" Stormpaw gasped.
"It's only me," Silverpaw whispered.
"I've been waiting here all night; did you have trouble getting away from camp?" Stormpaw asked.
"Sorry, I had to wait until Treepaw went hunting," Silverpaw replied.
"Treepaw was sniffing the twoleg place before. We better find a new hiding place," Stormpaw murmured.
"I can't...."
"Why not?"
"I'm....expecting kits," Silverpaw blurted out.
Stormpaw was shocked.
"I'm sorry, Stormpaw. I should've told you before...."
Stormpaw shook his head and licked Silverpaw's ear. "That's wonderful."
"How are we going to take care of them? We can't keep meeting here."
"We're going to stay here until you have our kits. Then, you can take them to ThunderClan."
"But you won't be able to see them,"
"It's best for our kits," he assured her, "you should rest; you must be tired."
The two apprentices fell asleep.

Silverpaw gasped; she opened her eyes.
"What is it?" Stormpaw yawned.
"Nothing, just a bad dream," Silverpaw murmured.
Stormpaw pressed his gray fur against her.
"Are you hungry?" he asked.
Silverpaw nodded.
"I'll fetch some prey for us," he decided.
"Just because I'm delivering kits soon, doesn't mean I'm helpless," Silverpaw meowed.
Stormpaw purred with amusement.
"I won't be long," Stormpaw promised.
Stormpaw stalked out of the twoleg place. He crossed the border into ShadowClan territory.
He heard a familiar growl. Stormpaw looked across the border.
"Intruder!" Treepaw snarled at a helpless kit. It had a collar around it. It must be a kittypet. Treepaw unsheathed his claws.
It mewed in terror as Treepaw pounced on it.
Treepaw clawed at it and finished it when he sank his teeth in the tiny kit's shoulder.
Stormpaw's fur bristled. He didn't have to kill it! It was just a helpless little kit!
Stormpaw tried to distract himself. I have to hunt. Stormpaw caught a mouse and brang it back to the twoleg place.
Stormpaw set down the mouse between himself and Silverpaw.
Stormpaw ate his share slowly. He thought about what he saw earlier, and the message StarClan had given him a few days ago. He stiffened. A tree! StarClan must be warning me about Treepaw!

Treepaw looked down at his paws in horror. They were soaked with blood. Treepaw quickly licked his paws, and looked around to see if any cat noticed.
Silverpaw was no where to be seen. A low growl rumbled from his throat.

A few days had past since Silverpaw went missing again. Treepaw suddenly remembered the twoleg nest he saw while he was hunting a few days ago. He had scented a ShadowClan cat near the twoleg nest, but he couldn't find the intruder. Treepaw stiffened. What if that ShadowClan cat is Stormpaw? That would give me an excuse to attack that piece of fox dung! Treepaw smiled, and headed out of camp. He quitley approached the twoleg nest, incase the intruder knew he was there.

Treepaw heard Silverpaw’s mew from inside old twoleg nest. He saw a small hole in one of the walls of the old twoleg nest. He peeked through it. Stormpaw was not the only cat in the nest. Silverpaw and a kit was there. It was a she-cat with a white pelt and ice, blue eyes. No, this…this can’t be happening. She’s only an apprentice and they can’t be mates; they’re from different clans! Treepaw’s eyes blazed with anger. There’s only one way to keep them from seeing each other. Treepaw darted inside the twoleg nest. He pounced on Stormpaw.
“Stop!” Silverpaw begged. Before anyone could react Treepaw sank his teeth into Stormpaw’s neck. Stormpaw let out a last cry of pain and went limp.
“Where is the kit?” Treepaw demanded.
“You’ll never touch my kit!” Silverpaw growled.
“That kit is half-ShadowClan! It deserves to die!” Treepaw snarled. Because Silverpaw was weak after delivering her kit Treepaw easily pushed her aside.
It squeaked in terror as Treepaw started to reach for it. Silverpaw pounced on Treepaw and snatched her kit.
“Your not sending anymore cats to StarClan today, Treepaw.” Silverpaw growled, “You’ll have to get through me first before you lay a claw on my kit.”
Treepaw glared at her. She’s my sister. I can’t kill her…
“I’m not going to kill you,” Treepaw sneered, “I already did what had to be done.” Treepaw disappeared into the forest.

Silverpaw opened her eyes. She had been resting in her den she made last night, away from her clan and Treepaw. Her kit was sleeping next to her.
“Let’s name her Snowkit,” Stormpaw whispered in her ear.
“OK,” she murmured back.
Silverpaw stared into Stormpaw’s amber eyes.
“Take care of our kit,” Stormpaw told her and then vanished in the bright, blue sky.
“I’ll miss you Stormpaw,” she murmured, tears dropping down her face. She looked down at her kit; she was sleeping. I should let Snowkit rest more. Silverpaw thought and drifted into sleep.

Treepaw was heading to a Thunderpath. I can never go back to camp! The whole clan will be angry at me for not telling Moonstar about Silverpaw's secret. I can't live anymore....Treepaw walked onto the busy Thunderpath. He faced a monster. "Come and get me!" he yowled. The monster was running straight toward him. Then...everything went black.

(I know its a lot of words. LOL. Anyways, I'm probably going to make a character called Yellowpaw. And she's going to be the reincarnation of Yellowfang! XD)

Snowpelt growled as a small fish escaped from her claws.
"I can't catch anything!" she mumbled to herself. She sniffed the air.
Blood...cat blood!
Snowpelt followed it toward the ThunderClan border. I can't go across...but a cat's in trouble!
The scent led toward a Thunderpath. She saw Treepaw. He was lying in the middle of the Thunderpath. No! I was too late!
"Silverpaw is that you?" he croaked.
"I'm Snowpelt...of RiverClan. I'm going to help you."
"I don't need help from a RiverClan cat! Anyways, it's too late now," Treepaw growled.
He's right. I don't have time to find a medicine cat. He's dying, and it's all my fault because I didn't get here fast enough!
Snowpelt watched in horror as Treepaw went limp. Oh, StarClan. I'm sorry!

"What are you doing on ThunderClan territory?" Greyflower growled to the RiverClan she-cat.
"It's Treepaw...he's dead. I..I need help carrying him back to your camp."
Greyflower looked horrified.
"My kit...my kit is dead?"
"Yes. I found him on a Thunderpath. I was too late,"
"No, no. He was a young cat. Why did StarClan do this to me?" Greyflower yowled.
"Wait here," Greyflower said. She ran as fast as she could. Once she reached the camp she called to Goldpaw "Goldpaw, come quickly!"
Silverpaw went missing and now this? How many kits are you going to take away from me , StarClan?

Treepaw was lying on the side of the Thunderpath.
"Your brother is dead," Greyflower meowed sadly, "Snowpelt found him in the middle of the Thunderpath."
"Treepaw," Greyflower whispered in his ear, "I'm sorry...I'm sorry I didn't protect you."
